Recently, I went into the city to shoot some street shots. I had no particular theme in mind. I was happy to take what I could get. But when I came home and reviewed my catch, I found that there were some stylish looking hats being worn out there. I’ve put together this page just for fun. The shots aren’t particularly great but I was amused to think that the hat was back in fashion. After all, it was Fashion Week.

I hope you enjoyed the series.
Great hat series! I love it.
Reading your blog is surly a good practice to read
English for me.
You’re not only good at taking photos, but also good at
writing!
Hi Catford, thank you for your comments. They are very much appreciated. I’m glad you liked the hat series. It was a surprise to me when I saw the shots I’d taken that day and I thought a mini series on the blog might be fun. I’m also glad my blog gives you an opportunity to practice your English. It’s always nice to know that someone is reading what I write.
I like your stream very much. Your street photos have a raw and realistic quality that I would very much like to be able to achieve but my background in photography is, perhaps, a little old fashioned. Your work, however, motivates me to keep trying. So, thank you for allowing me to see your photos.
With best wishes,
Keith
Good observation, Keith. Here, I noticed that hats are also back in winters. It is an elegant way of fighting against the rain and the cold. Either the sun, as on these photos.
Thanks Marco. I also think the fact that it was Fashion Week in Sydney at that time had something to do with it because I went out on the same day of the following week and the hat population seemed to have dwindled.
